Portadown Car Park is the principal parking facility serving Portadown Town Centre, providing essential access for shoppers, commuters and visitors. Due to its high daily usage, maintaining operational capacity throughout refurbishment was critical.
Although the existing waterproofing and deck protection system had only been installed six years prior, significant failures had developed — resulting in widespread defects and ongoing water ingress that required immediate remediation.
DekFast WPM 3 was selected for its proven durability, fast curing characteristics and suitability for high-traffic car park environments. The rapid curing PMMA system enabled efficient phased completion, minimising disruption to the town centre and ensuring the car park remained fully functional throughout the project.
